BUILDING BRIDGES & BREAKING BARRIERS
Kitchen Masters is our Social Recreation Cooking program where participants bond over the enjoyment of food. Our four week session covers the basic skills in the kitchen such as; cutting, measuring and following directions-- but does not exclude domestic skills like; setting the table, cleaning, plating food, and appropriate eating habits.
Through this month long session we hope to boost ones self esteem in the kitchen as well as leave them with skills that will contribute to their overall independency as they progress in life. Each meal is picked to highlight the skill or lesson for that day, each recipe is/will be adaptable for any ability. Each session will also be a loads of fun and a great opportunity to create relationships amongst their peers.
Kitchen Master is on Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm. From their will be doing a session every other month and the session fee will be $10 for the whole month.
